Chris is a registered physiotherapist with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree from the University of Melbourne (2017) and a Bachelor of Kinesiology from the University of British Columbia (2014).
He is a long-distance runner, swimrunner, surfer, and snowboarder, with a lifelong background in sport. Chris previously played competitive soccer, basketball, and volleyball, which helps inform his practical, athlete-centered approach to rehabilitation.
Clinically, Chris has experience working with athletes across a wide range of sports, as well as professional and pre-professional dancers, including Ballet BC and Arts Umbrella. His treatment approach includes hands-on therapy, individualized exercise programming, Clinical Pilates, and intramuscular stimulation (IMS), also commonly referred to as dry needling.
Chris takes a thorough, movement-based approach to care and believes physiotherapy should be collaborative, educational, and empowering—so patients leave each session with a clear understanding of their injury and a realistic plan forward.
